The Minister of Employment and Labor Relations A. Abdukhakimov received a delegation from the Russian Federation including the rector of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute M. Rusetskaya, vice-rector of the Institute A. Balakin, director of the center for linguodidactics, language testing and promotion of the migration policy of the Institute O. Rudchenko and vice-president of the Association for Legal Assistance to Labor Migrants Yu. Slutskaya. Head of the Agency for External Labor Migration Kh. Asamov also attended the meeting.
The meeting with the delegation from the Russian Federation was a direct continuation of the agreements reached during the official visit to the Russian Federation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev, which resulted in the signing of a number of interstate agreements, including about organized recruitment and involvement of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for labor activity on the territory of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations noted that the agreement fixed the main principles of cooperation in the field of labor migration and there is currently active work being carried out to implement them.
The meeting discussed the organization of state testing of the Russian language in Uzbekistan, including training and preparation for the exam at the Center for Pre-Vocational Training of Labor Migrants in Fergana city.
It was noted that the creation of such centers in the regions of Uzbekistan will provide necessary training for labor migrants traveling to the Russian Federation. Knowledge of the language, customs and culture, observance of the laws of the host country is an important part of civilized and organized labor migration.
In turn, M. Rusetskaya thanked for the warm welcome and acquainted the participants of the meeting with the activities of the Institute. Pushkin State Russian Language Institute has many years of experience in teaching the Russian language, preparing teaching staff, developing methods for teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The Institute has 42 centers and branches in 31 countries of the world and is one of the founding institutions of the Russian test consortium, providing scientific and methodological and organizational support for the state testing system for foreign citizens.
The rector of the institute stressed that all necessary conditions will be created at the Center for Pre-Vocational Training of Labor Migrants in Fergana city to teach the Russian language and conduct automated testing.
"Quality teaching of the Russian language is our image", - said the rector of the Pushkin Institute, M. Rusetskaya.
The program of the Institute delegation's stay in Uzbekistan includes meetings at the Agency for External Labor Migration and visits to Fergana region in order to familiarize with available conditions for speedy establishment of the Center for Pre-Vocational Training of Labor Migrants.
